I had a great appointment this morning. We got our favorite sonograhper who take a little extra time so we can see the babies more. Baby A had the hiccups again and Baby B was moving all around. They are still both breech and they were facing each other. Baby A weighs 3 lbs. 12 oz. and Baby weighs 3 lbs. 14 oz. The fluid levels looked good and my cervix is still stable...even a little better than last week.
Let's see...what else? Oh yeah, I am writing this FROM THE COMFORT OF MY OWN BED! I was released from the hospital today and couldn't be happier about it. I am still on strict bed rest and got a long lecture about how I really have to remain in bed except for bathroom breaks just like at the hospital. For those of you who don't me know all that well, I am a rule follower. If we were to go to a concert and there were empty seats up close, I would not go sit in them with you. If I did, I would be a big ball of anxiety the entire time because I would be afraid to get in trouble when the real ticketholders showed up. I know there have been quite a few people voice their not so positive opinions about the early hospital release, so just to clear this up even more, six very well respected OB/GYNs and one highly qualified and extremely cautious perinatologist signed off on this. Believe me, they would not have sent me home if they didn't think I could handle it. I was in the hospital for 73 days and will continue to go once a week for monitoring.
The house looks amazing! We pretty much have a brand new kitchen and it's fabulous. I can't even believe how wonderful it looks. Also, we have baby furniture! The nursery looks so cute. I'll post pics soon.
Random observation: Houses go up very quickly these days. There is a new house in our neighborhood that was not nearly close to being done when I was admitted. Also, the pink bear balloon is still stuck in ceiling of Perot 3rd floor.
