When I was writing in that last post that I secretly like the bad weather forecasts, I never would have imagined so many of my friends and family would be without power for so long...sorry! We lost power in the hospital Thursday night from 8 to 10...that's right - during Grey's Anatomy and Project Runway. The light behind my bed and some of the plugs are run on a generator so I had my laptop and a charged cell phone. We lost power off and on Friday, but it was all during the day so I didn't really care so much.

I've read two books the last two weekends, The Time Traveler's Wife and Water for Elephants. I enjoyed both very much. I LOVED The Time Traveler's Wife; if you are going to read it, I would recommend doing so when you have a block of time so you don't get too confused with all the jumps through time. I almost afraid to watch the movie because I liked the book so much, but I know I will anyway. Now I am going to start the Twilight series. I only know one person who didn't like the books and I've heard from some of the nurses up here that they are great for bed rest because you can really escape from reality. I have about 6 weeks to read as much as possible!
