31 weeks!

I had my usual Wednesday appointment this morning and all looks great...babies, fluid, cervix, etc. I am always a little anxious before the sonograms, so it's such a relief to get good news. I can see the light at the end of the bed rest tunnel and coudln't be happier about it. I will get to slightly increase activity at 34 weeks! Our big goal is to make it to 37 weeks so I'll still take it easy but it will be nice to at least sit up a little and be on my couch.

I've been watching a lot of the Olympics and not just the events; I've been watching a lot of interviews, stories about athletes, etc. I'm really enjoying it! Brandon and I played a game where we had to say the event we thought we could actually do and then the event we would love to do. I think I could do the cross country skiing or speed skating (long track); I would love to do freestyle skiing (aerials or moguls). Brandon thinks he could do the Biathlon (skiing and shooting at targets) and he would love to do ice dancing. Just kidding...he hates it when I pretend that the figure skating and ice dancing are his favorite events. He would love to do anything involving crazy flips in the air like the snowboarding halfpipe. It's a fun game...you should play it.

Random observation: You get really strange telemarketing type calls in the hospital. For example, I just got one about 5 minutes ago that was a recording informing that I could qualify for a free funeral or burial...I promptly hung up the phone. Also, pink bear balloon is still on the 3rd floor ceiling; it looks really sad now because the head is caught between the panels.
