We made it another week! I had an appointment today and all still looks great! They are checking for fluid, blood flow, movement, etc. and everything is good.
The first week home has been great! Brandon has been taking excellent care of me and we have some helpers stop by from time to time when he has meetings or something. I think I will be able to at least get up to get my own food starting late next week which will help a lot. I have been pretty busy with work, so it's not hard to stay in bed during the day and then I watch all my favorite TV shows in the evenings so time is really flying by. Speaking of TV, it sure is nice to have tivo, the guide and HD back!
It was nice to get out of the house today, even if it was to go to the hospital. I felt fine walking to and from the building and sitting in the waiting room. Thank goodness I was in good shape going into this!
Random observation: I can no longer cross my legs while sitting, but on the bright side my shoes still fit! I did not see the pink bear balloon on the ceiling today so I guess it's gone. I'll have to find something else now.
