It was just brought to my attention that there was no Wednesday update, so I just wanted to post really quick and let everyone know that everything is ok and I am still pregnant. I know I follow a few other blogs and I always wonder what the heck is going on if there is no post. Pretty much each day now is another day of growth for the babies. From my understanding, their major developments should be complete and now they are just packing on weight and practicing breathing. We are thrilled to have made it this far!
My blood pressure has started to go up, so I will remain on bed rest. I am actually too uncomfortable to go anywhere anyway. All I really wanted was a hair cut but I can hold off a little longer for that. I asked if I should drink a glass of red wine a day to help with the blood pressure and I just got a little chuckle, so I guess that's a no! Oh well, soon enough.
This past weekend we packed the hospital bag and installed the car seats. Today is my last day of work (for about 3 months) and I'm planning on renting a few movies and filling out some stuff in the baby books to keep me occupied as I finish out bed rest. I still need to finish the Twilight series also; I am about halfway through the third book.
