On some level it's hard to believe I've already been here three full weeks; if I start to think about all the little things, it seems longer. I know the best way to tackle this situation is to look at the big picture, but sometimes thinking about the little things makes me appreciate everything just a bit more. It's been three weeks since I've driven a car...three weeks since I've pet my cat...three weeks since I've done laundry (ok, so I don't miss everything!). We still have a long way to go, but so far we're all doing really well.
I don't really have much to update. I had both steroid shots last week to promote the babies' lung development. They were not pleasant, but they are in the past now. According to one of my nurses who hasn't been here in several days, my belly is definitely bigger (sorry, no pictures). I started some physical therapy last week also; it is only light stretching, but at least it's something. I also got an alternative menu which was very exciting; I love the grilled cheese sandwich and bagel w/cream cheese. Yay for more options! I'll have another cervix check Wednesday, but in the mean time no news is always good news here on the high risk floor.
In other news, the Cowboys won the NFC East today!! Let's hope they beat the Eagles again next week!
Random observation: James Earl Jones does A LOT of commercials. It would be pretty cool to have such a distinctive voice to make a living doing voice overs.
