Brooks and Charlotte are all over the place, mostly still going backward and doing the commando crawl but there has been some forward movement in last couple of days. Things are about to get very interesting at our house! Day care is great for this because there is a huge room where they can just cruise around all day. Brooks still has no teeth and Charlotte still has the two bottom ones. They are both eating level three foods now and will start transitioning to table food, maybe starting this weekend.
They like to nap like this now...
Brooks has been approved for a third helmet but he's still a happy camper...

Charlotte started year helmet free!! She nor Brandon are big fans of the bows yet, but we'll keep trying :)
They are both finally holding their bottles! The teachers at day care have been giving me a hard time about it (mostly Charlotte), so here we are...success! Sometimes I still give them their bedtime bottle holding them becaue I'm not quite ready to give that up, but I now have proof that they are fully capable of holding bottles.
In other news, Brandon and I start a new semester this week. I will really try to keep up with the blog updates, but I can't make any promises until I see my syllabus. I'm taking a research class which is what I really love so hopefully I'll enjoy class also. Brandon is taking two tough classes but one is online so hopefully that will give him a little flexbility. Our jobs are busy as usual but going great. My running is getting better every day and I'm even getting faster pushing the BOB. I will do a half marathon this year!
I've made several goals and a few resolutions for the year, but I'm just going to share my main one here. I resolve to be more present. I want to be better about focusing on what I'm doing in a particular moment. When I'm at lunch with a friend I want to really be enjoying lunch with my friend and not thinking about homework, housework, work, etc. When I'm at work, I need to be focused on doing a great job. When I'm at dinner with Brandon, I need to enjoy our night out and not think about missing the kids. You get the point...be more present...be a better wife, mother, daughter, friend, sister-in-law, granddaughter, etc. It's a biggie, but I resolve to do it this year!
