We don't go back to the doctor until next month, but we are guessing their weights by having Brandon get on our home scale alone and then with a baby (this lady is not at all ready to take on that task!). Brooks seems to be about 13 pounds and Charlotte around 11. This puts Brooks in the 25th percentile and Charlotte in the 10th percentile so they are still growing about the same rate as the last time we were at the doctor. Brooks is a really great eater and Charlotte is doing better. She can take down her whole bottle now but she is just a little pokey.
Charlotte is so animated these days and it's so fun to see her many different facial expressions. She can sit and look around a room and be completely content. She loves looking at her toys and have people read to her. She is starting to sleep a little better but not all the way through the night. She wakes up between 5:30 and 6:00 which won't be so bad when I go back to work because I can take her for a walk or go for a run solo if she goes back to sleep. Lately when she gets up at this time she is ready for the day and will not go back to sleep no matter how hard I try.

Brooks sleeps really well. He naps well and sleeps during the night well most nights. He's had a few nights where he sleeps from 8pm to 8am. He loves to snuggle and be held. He also loves being read to and loves to look at the pictures. He definitely likes to be entertained. He doesn't do well just sitting in his bouncer getting to know his surroundings which I'm sure will just much harder on us when he gets a little older. However, he is so sweet and generally a laid back little guy.

We had a very nice Father's day with lunch and pool time with the Laurenzi family. Both babies seemed pretty content in the pool which is great for us!! Brandon said his first father's day was wonderful! We had so many friends celebrating their very first father's days...I hope you all had a great one and enjoyed every minute with your little ones.
